Graham Sansom

Graham Sansom is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and brings a wealth of experience in local government. Previously, he directed the UTS Centre for Local Government and the Australian Centre of Excellence for Local Government. Before joining UTS, he served as CEO of the Australian Local Government Association.

In 2012-13 Graham led a pioneering review of local government in New South Wales, advocating for transformative changes, and has since contributed to similar reviews in most other Australian states. Currently, he is researching the future prospects for town and parish councils in Dorset, England, following a major restructure of local government carried out across the county five years ago.
