Decarbonisation lead and Technical Director Carbon, Mott MacDonald

Mark leads the decarbonisation team at Mott MacDonald. He collaborates with client's and asset owners to understand the impact of carbon emissions and plot reduction pathways. He is responsible for developing new innovative solutions, such as the Moata Carbon Portal, that simplifies carbon assessment during infrastructure design and working with industry to develop guidelines on how to do this efficiently. Mark has over 15 years’ experience in process engineering and project management working across the food and beverage, pulp and paper, oil and gas industries both in New Zealand and abroad and spent time working with New Zealand start-ups in Food and Beverage and Cleantech to help develop business and R&D plans that look to solve industry problems.
