Mike Wakefield is a partner in Simpson Grierson’s Planning and Environment group based in Pōneke  Wellington. He specialises in local government and environmental law, focusing on regulatory functions, strategic policy development, funding, and governance.

Mike represents clients in court and specialist tribunals on various strategic and regulatory issues. He is also closely monitoring local government reform proposals from both past and current governments.
