For Community Boards to be fully effective, they must forge and cultivate a strong relationship with their council. This award celebrates the meaningful ways they’ve gone about this, big or small. Whether they’ve partnered with council to deliver a big project, or simply set up regular coffee catch ups with councillors, the winning Community Board has made a genuine effort to build a stronger relationship with their council – so both can better serve the communities they represent.
