Chair of Surf Lifesaving New Zealand and the New Zealand Surf Lifesaving Foundation

Kelvyn is the Chair of Surf Lifesaving New Zealand and the New Zealand Surf Lifesaving Foundation. He was most recently the CEO of Momentum Waikato Community Foundation and is now General Manager for the Waikato for Craig’s Investment Partners in Hamilton. Kelvyn is a Registered Independent Commissioner and has an extensive corporate background in gold mining in New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia.

Kelvyn has been on the Braemar Charitable Trust Board, owners of the Braemar Private Hospital in Hamilton since mid-2021, has acted as an advisor to economic development agencies, iwi negotiations teams with his wife’s whanau in Mokai Patea (Rangitikei) and is a Director and small business owner of the Taihape Sports and Outdoors and Brown Sugar Café in Taihape and is a Director to one of NZs largest family owned farming businesses in the Waikato.

He is a Chartered member of the Institute of Directors and sits on the Waikato Branch committee and previously worked at executive level in local government and the sport sector. He specialises in making the complex simple, resolving conflict and ensuring strategy is translated into delivery.
