Sarah Lucas

Sarah Lucas is the Opportunity Party's spokesperson for local government, and its candidate for New Plymouth.   As former chair of the LGNZ Community Board Executive, she brings real understanding of local government, and sees the pressure councils are under to deliver in the current climate. Sarah loves local government and is determined to see fit for purpose design led by communities at the heart of future reform. She owns and runs Be Natural Soap, a Taranaki-based castile soap manufacturer, and is Deputy Chair of East Taranaki Environment Collective, overseeing large scale land restoration in Eastern Taranaki.
