Sarah Stevenson is a governance and planning expert with over 25 years’ experience in central and local government. She has held senior roles at MBIE, the Office of the Auditor-General, and Kāpiti Coast District Council, where she led iwi relationships, the district plan review, and long-term planning.
Sarah is a consulting planner and independent commissioner, supporting councils across Aotearoa in resource management processes. She serves on the National Committee of the Resource Management Law Association and recently received a Distinguished Service Award from the New Zealand Planning Institute.
Sarah brings sound judgement, empathy, and a deep understanding of council challenges - seeing Te Korowai as an opportunity to support lasting improvements for communities.
