Kim Hill is a renowned New Zealand broadcaster. Originally from Shropshire, England, Kim was just 15 when the family arrived in Otorohanga, and for a while, it was a bit of a culture shock. Kim's career in journalism kicked off at Canterbury University's Postgraduate School of Journalism, leading to roles at Radio New Zealand and newspapers in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Kim's incisive interviewing style gained her prominence on shows like Checkpoint and Morning Report before she became the beloved host of Nine to Noon, where she conducted thousands of interviews with notable figures. From 2002-23, she graced the airwaves with her hard-hitting Saturday Morning programme on Radio New Zealand, engaging listeners with in-depth conversations spanning diverse topics from science to literature, showcasing her boundless curiosity and intellect.
